New England College women's cross country runner Abby Shafer has earned North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Runner of the Year for the second straight season finishing the NAC Cross Country Championship in first place with a 5K time of 19:48.

HENNIKER, N.H. A trio of New England College student-athletes earned North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Weekly honors for their performances throughout the week of October 12-19.

New England College men's and women's cross country competed at the Emmanuel College Saints Invitational Friday afternoon held at Franklin Park in Boston.

New England College cross country teammates Abby Shafer and Colin Nelson-Peck have both garnered North Atlantic Conference (NAC) weekly honors for their performance on Saturday at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.

New England College women's cross-country finished 20th out of 44 teams as the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday, while the men's team finished 13th out of 37 teams.
